VINYASA YOGA - Basic

Are you a first timer or getting back into it?  Hatha yoga concentrates on the practice of postures known as asanas (in Sanskrit, the word asana means comfortable, stable pose) and breath control known as pranayama to energize the body.


The objective of exercising asanas in Hatha Yoga is to bring health to the body and peace to the mind. The more postures one can “master”, the better the basis for developing awareness, strength and flexibility. Regular Hatha yoga practice can help you cope with daily challenges with ease and comfort instead of building stress and developing illness.

If you have never ventured into yoga before or if you do not have an on-going exercise routine, do not fear! This class is for you.  Our knowledgeable instructors will give you a simple understanding of how the poses flow, explain the structure and technique to yogic breathing and answer all questions you may have.  

At least 6 months of regular practice are recommended before you move into the next level. Before joining class please let us know if there are previous injuries or health concerns.

2) Day: Wednesday (beginning July 30)
    Time: 6:00 - 7:15 am -- Wake Up with Vinyasa Yoga!
    Tuition: $62 full session (5 weeks); single class $15

6:00 AM CLASS REQUIRES PRE-REGISTRATION!!  CLASS REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 3 PARTICIPANTS.

The Armenta Studio will be CLOSED on: 
Friday, August 29 through Tuesday, September 2 for Labor Day Break. 

However we will be OPEN for class registration and FULL MIGHTY classes ONLY from Wednesday, September 3 to Friday, September 5

September 8 to October 29 (8 weeks)
