Expectant women need to receive tender nourishment and at the same time build the strength to embrace the transformation of such a natural wonder as pregnancy.
Yoga helps you to become stronger and more enduring, while at the same time capable of being more sensitive, aware and open. Regular practice of certain asanas and breathing techniques help maintain inner and outer vigor, it is an excellent way to "train" for the marathon of labor and motherhood.
This class is designed for beginners and no previous yoga experience is required. Overall the vinyasas are meant to be gentle and soothing with no strain or impact; great emphasis is placed on relaxation to keep a positive outlook and avoid unnecessary stress. We do ask for you to get your physician’s approval before joining class.
