Basic Yoga
The perfect transition class for a "yogi" who has completed several All Level Yoga classes at The Armenta Studio or who is already familiar with many basic yoga positions. Intermediate Yoga
Designed as a great transition from basics to more detailed yoga practice. This class gives you the opportunity to refine your practice with a deeper exploration, building discipline and more confident asana flows, as well as conscious pranayama practice. Advanced Yoga

Prenatal Yoga
This class is designed for beginners and no previous yoga experience is required. Where to Begin?
We welcome you to tour the studio and meet our experienced instructors. Each of them is a certified Yoga instructor with experience and dedicated to serious practice. Get acquainted with our classes by coming to observe before you sign up. If our session has begun already, you can always schedule a private lesson to get you caught up before joining the group class.
Our Atmosphere
Classes at the Armenta Studio are transforming but in a casual atmosphere and with individual attention. We will work hard, sweat a lot, laugh, and have fun connecting with new, like-minded people. Here we respect our practice and we take our craft seriously, but take ourselves lightly. Our large studio (600 sq ft) will enhance your experience and make you feel comfortable in a very supportive, non-competitive environment.
The Armenta Studio is located in one of Grand Rapids’ few “GREEN” buildings. Building green sustains the environment and is good for the planet due to energy efficiency and sustainable building practices.
How to Sign Up?
Pre-registration payment is the best way to confirm your space. Please call 616-235-9642 for details, stop by the studio, or mail in a check made out to The Armenta Studio. Also, we recently added a Shopping Cart that you can use to pay online for class! Each class description includes time, session dates and tuition.
FYI - We have plenty of FREE parking on Wealthy St., at the rear of building as well as in the East Lot on Diamond St.

* Students who are currently attending other classes at the Armenta Studio like Belly Dancing, Yoga, Full Mighty, NIA or Salsa Dancing receive 15% OFF when you sign up for a yoga session.

What to Bring to Class?
You will need a sticky yoga mat, a towel (optional) and water. You can purchase your sticky mat and bottled water at our lobby/shop. Of course, please bring positive energy and joy to the day!
Class Etiquette...
• Arrive few minutes before class begins.
• Out of respect to your own yoga practice and others, please DO NOT enter the class if you are more than 10 minutes late. The opening breathing and focusing section at the beginning of class are very important - do not skip it.
• Chewing gum is NOT allowed in any class at the Armenta Studio.
• Beepers and cell phone ringers are not welcome; please set them to vibrating mode or turn them off all together.
• Thank you for breathing, smiling and enjoying your YOGA experience.
• Thank you for being a part of the universal yoga celebration!
What to Wear?
• We suggest that you wear light, comfortable clothing in which you can move easily like tights and tanks. Ideal cotton fabrics.
• Please no jeans or baggy T-shirts, you/we must be able to move comfortably with no restraint.
• In class we do not wear shoes. Barefoot helps to make your toes happy.
