For over two decades, Laura Armenta and Laura Armenta Dance Company have brought the transformative power of movement arts directly to schools, universities, nonprofits, at-risk youth centers, museums, libraries, and community organizations across the region and beyond.

Founded and led by choreographer and educator Laura Armenta, our outreach programs open doors to creativity, cultural exploration, and holistic well-being for learners of all ages and backgrounds.

What We Offer

Our outreach programming is as diverse as the communities we serve. Since 2000, Laura has developed and delivered a wide range of experiences, including:

• Stage Dance Styles: Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, and fusion classes taught by a master with decades of international experience, adapted to all levels and abilities.

• World Dance Workshops: Journey across continents with vibrant, age-appropriate introductions to dance traditions from South and Central America, Africa, and Asia, fostering respect, curiosity, and intercultural understanding.

• Introduction to Yoga: Mindfulness, breathing techniques, and somatic movement for self-awareness, stress relief, and focus—accessible for every age group, K-12 through adult learners.

• Summer Camps & Intensives: Immersive camps and weeklong residencies that spark joy, build community, and empower young movers with new skills and confidence.

• Custom Programs: Workshops, Performance, Lectures, and residencies tailored to your unique goals, themes, or cultural celebrations—delivered with professionalism and deep cultural respect.
