  • Kent District Library 2650 5 Mile Rd NE Grand Rapids, 49525 (map)

Step into the Spirit of ‘Día de los Muertos’
Day of the Dead Celebration is part of our Fall Series.

Experience a breathtaking, bilingual tribute to Mexico’s rich cultural heritage with the Laura Armenta Dance Company

Laura Armenta, Founder and Artistic Director, presents this one-of-a-kind event that fuses the grace of contemporary dance with the vibrant soul of traditional Mexican folk dance, bringing to life the colors, rhythms, and stories of this ancient celebration.

The evening doesn’t end with the performance—you’ll be invited to join a hands-on dance workshop, connecting you directly to the joy, movement, and meaning of Día de los Muertos. Whether you come to watch, move, or be immersed in the tradition, you’ll leave uplifted, inspired, and forever touched by the magic of this timeless ritual.

FREE Family Event in collaboration with Kent District Library.

Be there. Feel the rhythm. Honor the tradition.
